I went to college for 10 years.

I couldn’t decide what I wanted to study. All I knew was that I wanted to get out of the retail world I had been working in for 6 years.

I started studying Interior Design at LDS Business College, where I earned my Sales Certificate. Then I transferred to Utah Valley University, where I changed my major to Psychology, Graphic Design, switched to Fine Arts, and one final time to Art Education.

I had my first art show and learned what it takes to be vulnerable.

I taught art to 7th graders and learned how to communicate a message in multiple ways and not to take things personally.

I worked in a marketing department when teaching didn’t work out (there weren’t many jobs available). Over time I grew the team that started with one (me) and expanded to five. I’ve managed marketing and graphic design projects, directed workloads and priorities, strategized, created, executed, and analyzed internal and external campaigns, and learned the importance and power of organization, timelines, collaboration, and consistent design and branding.

Kajsia McCoy and Jovie McCoy

I have a family of two girls (Jovie 9, and Veronica 6) and a cat, Zombie, with my husband Mike where we live in Spanish Fork, Utah. 🏠

I have two side hustles (Etsy and screen print designs) I use as creative outlets.

I’m not active on social media, but I love looking at and learning about food, design, and unsolved mysteries. 👁️‍🗨️
